Yogi Adityanath unveils new population policy

                        Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today unveiled the state's new population grandchildren for World Population Day 2021 - 2030. The new policy aims to reduce the birth rate by 2.1 per 1,000 population in the state by 2026 and 1.9 percent by 2030. The state's total fertility rate is now 2.7 percent.  Inaugurating the new policy at a function today, Chief Minister Yogi said there should be a gap between the two children in population control in the state. Notably, the population was unveiled today before a letter from the state’s Population Control also appeared on the State Law Commission’s website yesterday. "Population growth is hampering development," Yogi said. Development is hampered by a growing population. Concerns have been raised at various times about this. The issue has been the subject of much debate for the past four decades. The Chief Minister also said followed by the 2021-2030 Population Policy. The nations and states that have so far made efforts have had positive results. But more and more steps are needed. "The Uttar Pradesh government has implemented this policy in the interest of all sections of the society," yogi said.
