The state is a decline in corona infections from above 11,000 in four days ago while today it has dropped below 8,000. Healthy rates are also increasing. So there has been talk of opening educational institutions again in the state. Because schools have already opened in Mumbai. Some parents were demanding an opening in Odisha but the state government is still unable to take concrete steps as the number of corona infected is above 5,000. Which is why online studies are being given priority. The online classes of primary and high school students have been prepared till the second week of February.
In the meantime, everyone is confused about whether matriculation and class 12 exams will be held. School and public education minister Sameer Ranjan Das advised the students to be ready for the exam. Briefing the media, Mr Das said corona infection is decreasing in the country as well as in the state. We remain hopeful that the exam will be held on time and the results will be released. We will take appropriate steps in time by looking at the infection situation. I have conducted a class X semester examination when the school is open. The classroom test has also been conducted. If the infection increases again or the situation worsens, some other options will be considered. I hope the infection will be reduced by the grace of Lord Jagannath. We will test and get the results out on time so children should prepare for the exam without wasting time, take online classes and be mentally prepared to take offline exams.
