All government and private schools in the state have been above Class VIII since Monday. Offline studies of all class students will start. It will also open other technical and professional educational institutions including colleges and universities. Earlier today, all the hostels in educational institutions have been opened. There will be offline classes of students from KG to Class VII from February 14. Keeping that in view, there has been a slight change in the study schedule. The education for students from 9th to +2 will be from 10 am to 4 pm. Accordingly the routine will be prepared and the teachers will hold classes. Schools will be open from 10am to 1pm for children from class I to VIII. Students will be given dry rations as before for lunch. Children will have alternative arrangements for studying. They can choose both online and offline options if they wish. Class Promotion test will be held from KG to Class IX. The 10th and 12th class examinations will be held as per the guidelines issued earlier. Teachers, children and parents will cooperate as the education of class I to V students has been closed for two years. The summer vacation will be reduced if required.
It may be recalled that schools and colleges were closed in the first week of January as the 3rd wave of corona affected the state. Online classes were going on with offline studies stopped. But now the corona infection has decreased. People are getting admitted in small numbers in medical swells in this wave. The situation has come under control. The number of corona infected is also low. In addition, children between the ages of 15 and 18 are being given corona vaccine. So keeping in view the larger objectives of the students, the government decided to open schools and colleges.
