Shubhshree Nand, Additional Secretary, Department of Schools and Mass Education, wrote a letter informing the Director of Higher Secondary Education. With the history of matriculation passing this year, there is a risk of a shortage of seats in Plus 2 colleges.  There are a total of 4,43,354 seats in 2032 plus 2 colleges in the state, while 6,17,000 students have passed in Matric. In addition, the results of the CBSE and ICSE board exams are expected to increase as the number of students enrolled in Plus 2 increases.
