'One Nation, One Ration' was launched in the state

                   The 'One Country, One Ration' program has been launched in all districts of Odisha from today. This will allow people from outside the state in Odisha and outside Odisha to get food from their favorite shops. Beneficiaries will be able to avail this facility at 10,058 affordable shops in the state. In addition, vitamin-rich distribution programs have been launched in Malkanagiri district as a pilot project under the general distribution system. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated these two important programs to further strengthen the food security system. Inaugurating the occasion, the Chief Minister said that living with dignity is the right of all and no one can deprive the poor of this right. We have always respected this right through our various programs. "We will continue to work for the welfare of the poor." I have always said that our goal is to ensure that no poor person is deprived of food security. Mr Patnaik said food security was the state government's largest welfare measure. The program benefits 9.3 lakh families and 3.5 crore people in the state. The state government has been supplying rice at Rs 2 per kg since 2008 and Rs 1 per kg since 2013. The rice has strengthened the food security of the poor. He hoped that the vitamin-rich gourd contained vitamin B-12 and folic acid, which would be very helpful in protecting the health of the poor, especially women and girls.

                         Highlighting various welfare schemes in the state, the Chief Minister said that the state government has provided free education to children along with food security. Clothing, books, bicycles - everything from shoes to government. All government hospitals are providing free medical care to all. In addition, various employment schemes are being implemented for the poor. The Mission Shakti program also provides employment to the mothers of poor families. The Kalia scheme for farmers has gained popularity across the country. He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was important for the poor. Therefore, the state government has provided Rs 2,000 crore for the employment of the poor and for farmers, women and workers. All of our programs have improved the social status of the poor. Attending the function, State Food Supply Minister Ranendra Pratap Swamy highlighted the various steps being taken by the state government to ensure food security for the poor. Speaking in Malkangiri, Sports Minister Tusharkanti Behera said vitamin-rich could help protect the nutrition of the people of Malkangiri. Minister for Forests, Environment and Climate Change Vikram Keshari Arukh was present in Berhampur to highlight various schemes of the state government. In Bhubaneswar, Science and Technology Minister Ashok Panda was present, saying that thanks to the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, Odisha has become a role model for other states across the country today. Chitrakonda MLA Purnachandra Bal, Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda and Bhubaneswar MLA Anant Narayan Jena were the keynote speakers at the event. It is to be informed that the ‘One Nation, One Ration Scheme’ has already been implemented as a pilot project in the city of Bhubaneswar. Chief Minister's Secretary V. K. Pandian conducted the program. Chief Secretary of the Supply Department V. V. Yadav delivered the welcome address. Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra, Development Commissioner P. K. Jena, Additional Chief Administrative Secretary, Department of Health, P. K. Mohapatra, Agricultural Production Commission. R. K. Sharma and secretaries of various departments were present.
