Universities and colleges will reopen on August 16


                        Universities and colleges under the Department of Higher Education have been officially reopen on august 16. UG will open its first semester for students in the 2020-21 academic year, except for first-year students. Prior to that, all the PG, UG, PHD, M.Phil. Higher Education Secretary Shaswat Mishra is all set to open a hostel for students studying in Phil from the 14th of august month. The university has written to the chancellor and the college president informing them. Mr Mishra said the UG and PG students' exams last year continued online. So there is no need for them to come to the academy for classroom education. Universities and autonomous colleges can take the exam online or offline, taking decisions at their own level towards the remaining semester students. Institutions will create their own test calendars. As a result, their children will be able to earn degrees on time next year.

                  Classroom teaching for other research students, including PHD, M.Phil., Will also begin on the 16th. Teachers, staff and students in the Concession Zone will not be able to attend universities and colleges. Wearing a mask on campus is mandatory. Regular hand wash and hand sanitation, classrooms, libraries, libraries, social distances, and spitting on campus have been curtailed. It is recommended to cover the face while coughing and sneezing. It is mandatory to have an isolation room on campus. As far as possible, it is recommended to record classroom lessons and send them to absent students. Private universities under the Department of Higher Education have also been asked to apply the rules.
